    Does this work out of the box with custom post types, or does it need to be explicitly enabled per post type in the settings?

    Yes, Duplicate Post RB supports custom post types, but they need to be configured in the plugin settings.

    You can enable support for the required custom post types in the General Settings. In addition, each duplication profile can have its own configuration for what should be copied, including: custom fields (metadata), taxonomies, featured images, and other post elements.

    This allows you to create different profiles for different post types and workflows, giving you full control over what is duplicated.
