Duplicated posts keep original publish date

    When cloning a post, the duplicate inherits the original publish date instead of being set to “draft” with today’s date. Is there a setting to change this default behavior?

    Yes, you can control this behavior through the Duplication Profile Settings. Please open your duplication profile and go to the “Elements to Copy” section. There you can disable the option to copy the original post date.

    After disabling this option, the duplicated post will not inherit the original publication date and can use the new post status/date settings instead. You can create separate profiles with different rules if you need different duplication behaviors for different workflows.
