Duplicated post not set to draft

    Hi, I have been using your plugin for a while now, very useful. Noticed something recently, when I now try to duplicate a post and I select the new post to be set as Draft, it always gets created as published. Is there some setting I could check?

    Hey gilles. Off the top of my head, do you have the ‘retain published date’ option checked? I ask because if this is checked it always copies the post status with it!

    Hi, thank you for the fast response. Worked perfectly. Just out of curiosity, I can understand that having a post date means the the text has been published, but is there a way to transfer de time stamp without the status?

    Unfortunately no. The only way you can get a post timestamp is if you publish the post, hence the functionality. Glad you are sorted gilles 🙂
