Duplicate Posts When Using Multiple Widget Instances

  • Hi,

I’m using GFWA in 2 instances on my home page:

    • As a featured post image at top where many sites have a slider. This post is the the most recent post categorized as ‘featured’. These posts also have other categories.
    • Below that, in 3 columns, the rest of my most recent posts. I have this setup as all categories.

Because of this setup, my featured post, also gets included in the posts in the 3 columns.

Is there a way to prevent this? Maybe something along the lines of having the widget in the 3 columbs show all posts EXCEPT the most recent X (one in this case) in a certain category?

Thanks for your help or any thoughts you have on this issue.
