    Could you check and confirm if you are using the ‘clone’ feature or the ‘rewrite & republish’ feature in the Yoast Duplicate Post plugin?

    Because using the clone feature would create the exact same copy of the cloned post, but it would be in draft form. Once you make some changes and publish it, we expect that it would be published under its own slug and that changes made to that post wouldn’t reflect on the post that it was cloned from.
