Duplicate orders using Stripe payment gateway

    Hi,

    We are a small non-profit organization; all of us are volunteers. We are getting duplicate payments going through Stripe via Paid Membership Pro. The error message is: “Error creating plan with Stripe:Interval_count for yearly plans can’t be greater than 1.” Stripe support says it’s not a problem caused by their service.

    We are using the latest version of PMPro: 1.8.13.1

    We are trying to encourage members to renew online, but this is causing us problems.

    I just had an email from Stripe. Now that we have an error message, they were able to inform me that we can’t do a 2-year recurring subscription with their banking partners restrictions. I have removed the recurring option as we can handle that a different way. Hopefully, that resolves the issues.

    Andrea, I hadn’t heard of this issue before. It sounds like there is a limit on the subscription options depending on your account. We can’t get around that limit, but I’ll look into catching this error in a nicer way. I hope your work arounds work out for you.
