I keep getting an error message when trying to add JS files.

“duplicate files have been found in your minify settings, please check your settings and re-save.”

The thing is there are no JS files added. I had added them, saved, cleared the cache, checked to be sure they worked, then add CSS, saved, cleared cache, and the JS disappeared. Now when trying to re-add them I get the above error.

Page speed tests show they are not being minified. Please advise.

  • In the plugin you can select which theme to compress the file for. Go into the minify settings and select any theme that’s not your current one and make sure that none of the files are compressed. Then do it for the next theme.

Yay! that was it, oddly they were not the same scripts and for an entirely different theme I used last year, but clearing the old theme scripts out eliminated the issue.

    Thank you.

I have same issue. but my case, there isn’t any theme installed other than current active theme.
So I can’t find the solution with the method provided above.
    Any other way?
