Duplicate event needs to update publication date

    We often repeat events of the same type, so we copy/duplicate/clone the previous event in the calendar.

    This works very good, but it do not update the publication date for the event, it stays the same date as the original event we cloned. We would like the publication date for the cloned event to be the date+time when we cloned it, so the new event will show correctly in news boxes.

    Hi,

    You’re right, it seems that this is how WordPress works, I have reported it to the dev team and hopefully they will have a solution.
