Duplicate Custom Taxonomies?

    When creating custom taxonomies, how should I name them? For instance, if I have Dining as a Custom Post Type, and Lodging as a Custom Post Type, both have a custom taxonomy of “types” right now for determining specifics, such as what type of dining, or what type of lodging.

    Can I use the same taxonomy name of “types”, or should I name it “dining_types” and “lodging_types”?

    Is the taxonomy meant to be shared?

    If not, use please rename them with prefixes (namespaces).

    They’re not meant to be shared, they’re just sort of the same idea. They’re essentially “Categories”, but each specific to one specific Custom Post Type. So I assume I should just prefix them with the CPT?
