    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help as i have just ran Gsite crawler on my blog, and most of my posts are coming up as duplicate content url’s.

    i.e
    http://www.site.com/post
    and
    http://www.site.com/post/

as i am sure people are aware that this is bad for seo purposes as th SE’s think your trying to trick them.

Does anyone know of a way to solve this problem?

    Thanks
    Paul

  • The trailing slash doesn’t mean that it’s a different page.

    It’s the same thing as

    www .site.com and
www .site.com/ (less spaces, of course)

the search engines don’t view that as different – it’s the same URL, and not considered duplicate content. (and yes, I do SEO for a living.. 😉 don’t worry)

    cheers

    Duplicate contain mean

    http://www.domain.com
    http://domain.com

If search engine crawl both URL, then you’re in problem.
And archive also create problem in duplicate content .

i am just finding any possible of duplicate content via TAG….
