Dropdown menu transparent

So my webpage is ready otherwise but my drop-down menu background is transparent so the titles in the drop-down get lost in the site with all the picture and other text. There must be a way to put the drop-down menu background white for example, without paying for some pro subscriptions. But how? I have tried a lot of stuff but they don’t seem to work.
