Dropdown broken

I selected the dropdown option under Form Styling.

On my site, when I type in the search field and press enter, I’m taken to the Search results page instead.

There’s no JS errors, no other plugins active and using the TwentyNineteen theme. I’m using the free version. Do I need to enable something else?

It is not broken but it seems you are expecting something else from this option.

The Dropdown style option displays the search form added in the menu on clicking on the magnifier icon as described in the below documentation.

True, I was expecting to experience the same result as the one found on your documentation website. Is there any option for that – to display results in a drop down while still considering small screens?

After adding the search form in the menu using Ivory Search plugin, just set its style to dropdown as described in the below page.

Vinod, sorry for the confusion. To clarify, I am looking for the results to show in the drop down opposed to sending the user to the search results page like the search box found on your documentation site.
