Every time I try to complete setup I press the button and the page just hangs and never goes anywhere. I don’t know what to do I’ve tried wiping the settings, completely uninstall and reinstalling. It just automatically knows the Dropbox account I want but WILL NOT complete setup. This happened after I reinstalled and updated WordPress due to a problem plugin that has not been reinstalled. This worked perfect before now it won’t even let me change Dropbox accounts. Someone please give me some tips or advice. Much appreciated. I’m about to just give up on “the #1 installed WordPress backup plugin”.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

Can you try to temporarily deactivate other plugins installed? There could be conflict between UpdraftPlus and the plugins you are using.

I can’t until I complete the setup including first back it seems to be locking out other plugin settings and greys them out. I’m done with the thing. I used the same plugins last time and it worked. It’s so stupid, everything works until I have to push the complete setup button and it won’t go back to the settings it just hangs. I’ve already had my site down for over a day trying to get an answer and it’s not worth it. If you guys who work on updraft want to let me know the fix I might reconsider but I’m uninstalling it and going with another solution. I was thinking about upgrading but why should I. The free options don’t work right. And you have to pay to get an additional plugin to use Microsoft azure or OneDrive when I already pay a subscription for those. Really! This whole thing seems like a giant money making operation that doesn’t bother to make the program work correctly so I’m done with it. I’m sure any other real business people will leave to when they make a change and find out you can’t get any support for it and if you don’t pay up right now you can’t try it out because it won’t work.

    Hi,

If that first step can’t be done, could you ask your host if ‘mod-security’ or another similar security module is installed on your server?

If so, please could it be temporarily disabled? Once disabled, try re-connecting to Dropbox and check if you are able to connect.

    Thanks,

Buddy I’m telling you everything was fine until i reinstalled wordpress it has the exact same settings now a when it worked before. The only reason i reinstalled wordpress was because i installed a plugin that messed with my site, LONG after i had been using the program flawlessly. ITs going from updraft back to my settings when i click complete setup that it hangs, I’m telling you its a dropbox or updraft that’s causing the error, and every time i set the settings for updraft then click to validate it freezes, when i refresh it says code already used.

    Hi,

    Apologies for the late reply.

Do you get the same issue when using a different remote storage?
