Drop Down Menus suddenly not working

    I recently updated my wordpress to the latest version and now my drop down menus are not working. They are showing fine on my dashboard however when I hover over the parent category on the site, they do not appear. I have tried adding new children categories to test if that is the issue and they do not appear either.
