• Hi everyone,

Two days ago I bought hosting via GoDaddy, and used a domain that I bought via Google Apps (http://www.booksofamber.com) to create a site using WordPress. Everything was fine until a few hours later, now I get a 404 error whenever I check the site. Last night it was working fine with Internet Explorer, which I used on a whim, and also for my friend in the Netherlands, now nothing is working at all.

What do you think the problem is? Have I installed WP incorrectly? My first though was that the nameservers are still updating, except it’s going on and off. It’s driving me crazy because I just want to work on my blog!

    Thank you in advance.

  • Did you make sure to get the domain name connected to your actual site hosting? I guess at this point I’d check with your hosting for help. Maybe GoDaddy hosting doesn’t work with Google Apps domain names. I don’t think it’s a WordPress issue based on the sounds of things… I think it’s more of a domain name not being mapped correctly to the host. So more a Google or GoDaddy issue.

check if your domain is locked

Your site opens fine for me. Have you fixed the issue?
