You currently have the drag-and-drop handle disabled for Editors as it requires the ‘edit_theme_options’ capability, which is only enabled by default to Administrators. All of my clients are given the Editor role and still need to be able to manage the page order using the drag handle which isn’t visible unless I install the Members plugin and enable the edit_theme_options capability, which then gives them access to theme settings that I don’t want them to have in some cases. The correct capability for page management would be the ‘edit_pages’ capability. Please consider making this change in future updates.

Otherwise this is a fantastic plugin – makes it so much easier for my clients to manage their websites when they have a lot of sub-menus. Cheers!

As of 1.1.7, there is now a setting to give editors sorting capabilities.

To enable this, go to Settings > Nested Pages, and check “Editor” under “Allow Page Sorting”.
