Drag and Drop Ordering inside Gallery doesn't work

    Hello,

    i am running latest Google Chrome (50.0.2661.94 m – 64-bit) and latest WP installation. Interface for gallery ordering of images doesn’t work. Instead of grabbing image thumbnail, it acts as text selector.

    Tried:

    • Disabled all plugins, used default theme, reinstalled wordpress
    • No javascript error in console
    • Logged via incognito tab, to make sure there is no cache
    • Works in Microsoft Edge!
    • Edit: Tried another WP installation – result is the same
    • Edit2: Tried different PC, also with latest Chrome (32Bit though) – can’t replicate the issue, going to try restart PC – issue might be possibly Chrome 64bit-based

    Conclusion:
    Bug/problem is probably G. Chrome render specific, since under the same conditions, this feature works in Microsoft Edge.

    Can’t confirm what is happening. Bug occurs only on one specific Win 10 Home 64Bit machine with Google Chrome. Under same conditions on different machine (Win 10 Pro 64Bit) the problem doesn’t occur.

    Kind of disappointing, that i didn’t find solution nor the source of the problem.

    Hey,

    I’m having the same problem. Unable to drag & drop images even on the clean WP installation.

    Using Win 10 Pro Version 1511 x64 intel i3 2310M
    Chrome 51.0.2704.79 m (64-bit)

    I understand that the issue probably affects just a few people but is there any ticket for that? I would like to avoid using IE if possible 🙂
