I would love to be able to select a bunch of posts and drag/drop all of them at once to re-sort my posts more efficiently.

    How this could work:

    1. A content manager selects multiple posts using WordPress’ default checkboxes, from the regular post list screen (edit.php?post_type=whatever).
    2. Dragging any of those selected posts will drag all of the selected posts. During the dragging, we see a little floating box that just says “7 items” for example, which moves with the mouse until dropped.
    3. Dropping anywhere moves all the previously selected items to the new spot in the order.
    4. See Spotify or Outlook for Web for example, for how other interfaces handle selecting and dragging multiple items.

If the plugin developer is reading this: is this something you could add? Moving a lot of posts one by one is a pain. Thank you in advance.

    Hi,
This functionality is available in the Advanced Post Types Order plugin.

    Thanks
