Draft Orders

    So this has been happening for a while now. I keep getting the occasional Draft order created then usually (but not always) a new Processing order will be raised by the same customer. Doing some research it looks like Draft orders should only be available with Blocks Checkout but I am not using Blocks, I have the older style Shortcode Checkout. I can’t find a common link other than most Draft orders are using Stripe not Paypal. I may go days without any then get 2/3 in a day. My main worry is that some customers are getting stuck somewhere during the checkout process as some go back and raise a new order. Any ideas?

    Hey! This is likely because your customers are using express payment buttons (Apple Pay, Google Pay) from the product page, which uses draft orders

    @senadir I only have Apple Pay & Google Pay setup at the checkout page, not on a product page. I suspected this may be the culprit but then dismissed it because those customers that raise another order very often use a standard credit card checkout.

    The ones on Checkout (both) also use Store API, you can test it yourself
