Draft a chapter(section)

    Hello dear Masteriyo

    I’m creating a few lesson in a section. I had to create the section to be able to create lessons in it. Since I’m still working on the lessons and haven’t finished yet, i marked the lessons as draft. But the section is still there and the users still can see the section as empty section in Single course page and learn page. Is there anyway to mark the section as draft until i make and publish the lessons?

    Hi derlehre,

    Thank you for the suggestion, we have recorded this, being able to mark a section itself as draft would genuinely improve the experience for users who are still building out their course content.

    As a temporary solution in the meantime, you can create your lessons under your existing section and save them as draft while you are still working on them. Once you’re ready, create a new section, then use the drag-and-drop feature to move your drafted lessons into it, and publish the section once everything is in place. This way, students won’t see an empty section while you are still building it.
