Please accept my apologies for your inconvenience.
Please follow the below steps to debug the issue:
- Go to Admin Dashboard > WP Security (main menu) > Settings (submenu) > General Settings (1st tab) > Debug settings (last section), tick the “Enable debug” checkbox and press on the “Save debug settings” button for save changed settings.
- Then try to back up the wp-config.php file.
- Go to Admin Dashboard > WP Security (main menu) > Dashboard (submenu) > Logs (last tab) and see if you see any error. Please inform us about it.
The wp-config.php file is backed up in the root/wp-content/aiowps_backups. It looks like your wp-content folder is not writable. Can you please check the folder exists root/wp-content/aiowps_backups? If it doesn’t exist, please create it and give it writable permission.
Thank you.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your answer.
I followed all steps, I don’t see any errors in « logs » tab. I tried twice.
And yes, I just checked I have the following folder : root/wp-content/aiowps_backups?
Are you using chrome, can you try in incognito mode?

Yes, I tried but I am still unable to download it. I tried also with Firefox in case of…
Apologies, what version of AIO are you using? Newer versions use UpdraftPLus to backup instead (the backup functionality of UpdraftPlus is a lot more reliable)
The AIO backup has been removed from the plugin.
If you are using the latest version of the plugin the backup should be in the wp-content/updraft directory site of your site via FTP

Hi,
Thank you for your answer.
I use the AIO Version 5.1.0.
So, I only wanted to download the wp-config-backup.txt file from settings tab > WP-config.phb tab in AIOS settings
But I am not able to do it.Downloading stops with error message.
Maybe you already answered just above to this question but I am not sure to understand everything.
Apologies for delay, you should be able backup the wp-config. However, it won’t be downloaded to that folder, it will be directly to your machine
Do you have any browser extensions activated?
Open Chrome browser > click on 3-dots menu icon > More tools > Extensions.
On the next screen, disable Extensions by moving the toggle to OFF position. If an extension is unnecessary, click on Remove to uninstall the extension.
