Download counter incrementing wrongly

    Hello, The download counter for my files works fine if I download normally but if I use tools like Internet Download Manager to download these files then the download counter increases by 4-5 instead of 1. Any help?

    Hello,

    While I am not certain, I guess the reason for this would be that any browser download managers, start multiple connections to the file to download certain part of the file and then merge it later. This increases the download speed but this could be the reason you have multiple counts for every download.

    I regret to say there is not much we can do about this from our end.
