Download Count

    Hi,

    Is it possible to display the title of the download but not the count? Is there a way to do this without creating a custom theme? If necessary, I know that creating a custom theme is possible but I’m not sure where to place the theme within the WordPress hierarchy.

    To remove the download count you need to remove one string from the default file template. Go to WP-Filebase>settings>templates and scripts.

    In the Default File Template box remove the following line:
    %file_hits% %’Downloads’%

    It would be wise to backup the template text in a text file before you mess with anything though.
