That isn’t happening for me. It all looks fine for me. Maybe you have a caching problem. Clear all cache (server cache, caching plugin, and browser cache) and also check the page in an incognito browser as well as in different browsers.
Hi cavalierlife,
Thank you, can you double check? Are you seeing https://www.screencast.com/t/bq92ohqJWH?

@pranaman Please do not use short links in these forums. They get expanded when found and I have expanded yours.
I use jing, https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html.
It creates those links just like that. I do not shorten them.
anyway, back to the issue. Does anyone know why we see double x and double < and >?
The problem with URL shorteners or what ever other mechanism you choose to use to obfuscate where a user ends up when they follow a link is they are a potential vehicle to fool people into visiting malware laden sites. Thus we require links to take people to where they expect to be taken and not be redirected elsewhere. We are not accusing you of spreading malware or being deceptive, but we do require you to post honest links that take people to where they expect to go.
It appears you are invoking two different lightbox scripts for the same images. Because the darkened background is semitransparent, one box’s controls show though into the other box. One lightbox is the one that belongs to this plugin. The other box has a class attribute mfp-gallery. Hopefully that means something to you. One lightbox script or the other should not be loaded on the same page as the other.
Thank you, I can imagine that happening. I know you are not accusing me, I am just using a link to show a screenshot provided from that program.
If you know of another way to show a screenshot, I’ll be happy to know of it.
As for the issue, we found it – both the elementor plugin and the theme had a lightbox option and we turned off the one in the plugin, and now it’s fine.
Cool! Gotta love an easy fix.
A lot of people here like to use snag.gy to do static screenshots. This is not an endorsement of snag.gy, you can use any method you wish as long as the resulting link does not redirect people. Thanks for understanding.
yeah, good to see!
Thanks for the tip, didn’t know of snag.gy. I’ll try it going forward.
