    Recently I faced lots of downtime so I contacted my webhost, they said that This is a known issue with WordPress, the server is not down!

    Can someone recommend a fix to protect my site, please?

    This is NOT a known issue with WordPress. It’s a file permissions issue on your server.


    I’m not sure actually, I contacted webhost support and s/he said that!

    Can you recommend a fix for it, please?

    Then she’s wrong. There is nothing you can do in WordPress to fix this. You have to change the file permissions on the file. It should be 644. if it is already 644, then you need to go back to hosts and tell them that you may have a file ownership issue.

    I contact support again and s/he said that, the site was set at 000.

    I hope the problem solve now.
