I used this plugin a couple years ago to shorten the URL of an event we posted. It worked great. Now I’m going back to update the URL and I don’t see my event or any event listed in the Internal Articles. The “Event” type is probably a custom page type with the WordPress theme we’re using, but it worked before.

When I export the shortcuts I see it in that text file, so I know it’s in there. Is there something I can do to make events show up in the list?

    Thanks!

I just checked the export file and there are 634 records, whereas when I view them in the plugin settings there are 335 (all type = page or post).

OK now I see the setting: “What are the short links that are to be displayed?”, but I can’t yet figure out what the type is of my events. “event” or “events” doesn’t work. Is there a way to just make all types show up?

OK I figured out the custom post type name by searching the theme’s PHP files for “register_post_type”. So it’s working now. It would be nice, though, if there was a checkbox in the parameters to just include custom post types.

Thanks! The plugin is great, btw!

I am glad that you figured out by yourself and that it works now.
Yes indeed, it would be nice to have a checkbox, but it is more complex to program and I did not had time to do it 🙂

    Regards
