• This didn’t work for me, in fact my WP form no longer sends emails to me so I’m now worse of than before as the forms sent by potential customers disappear, I would say to anyone thinking of using this plug in don’t do it.

    Hi @paulatu12 ,

We are sorry to hear that you were not able to get WP Mail SMTP working on your website, but your circumstance sounds very odd. Upon activating WP Mail SMTP, you will be set to the default PHP mailer that WordPress uses by default. The next step would have been to set up one of our mailers based on the service you wanted to use.

Did you try using our Setup Wizard or followed the instructions for setting up any of our mailers from our detailed documentation?

We would have been more than happy to assist you in getting WP Mail SMTP up and running on your end. Please know that you can use the WP Mail SMTP support forum where we provide FREE limited support. That would be the ideal location to share details of any issues or clarifications you might need.

If you do decide to give WP Mail SMTP another chance, we do hope to hear from you in the support forums.

    Thank you.

Hi Duke, thanks for your quick reply

You say it sounds odd that it didn’t work but there are similar reviews so there’s clearly a problem

I’ve uninstalled the plug in and I’m now receiving the forms with out the plug in so the problem is fixed my end, I wont be trying it again though.

    Thanks again
