Try changing the “Drop The Signature From Mail” setting to “No”
If that doesn’t help please send a sample message to test@postieplugin.com – it works best if you can send a message directly rather than forwarding one.

Thanks. I see that the simple_html_dom library is choking on “möchte” in your sample email. I’m looking into why this is happening.
OK, I found and fixed the bug. Turns out that if the message didn’t have a content-transfer-encoding header then Postie didn’t try and convert the charset from the email charset to the blog charset.
This will be released as 1.6.5 shortly.
