Domain transfer problem

    I have changed the above domain to my permanent domain http://brightonlives.org.uk in settings-general, both in site address URL and WordPress address URL. Having saved, I now get a 404 error page not found. The address WordPress points to https://brightonlives.org.uk. and comes up with 404. I haven’t set up SSL yet. I cannot now get back into my admin to download plugins and the theme has disappeared in ‘visit site’. can you suggest what I can do please? My host is Bluehost and the domain was bought from Domain.com. Domain.com have transferred the domain for me.

    Check your DNS records to verify the entries at your host. Did you change the A record and other records for the new name.

    I usually create a new web site for a name change. Get it working and use duplicator to make a copy and move it to the new site.

    I haven’t made any changes to the DNS record at Bluehost. Having looked at these,including the A record, I am not sure how to go about this as I am new to setting up a website. can you advise please?
