• Hi dear all, thank you for reading this.

I am an absolute noob with wordpress.

Im trying to help my wife setup a blog.

So i managed to use the one click install and host the site on herokuapp and got a custom domain name.

ie: http://www.mindtending.com to redirect to mindtending.herokuapp.com

But when i access the website, i want the links on the website to show mindtending.com/page instead of mindtending.herokuapp.com/page. How can i do that?

The last i tried to tinkle with the settings i completely lost my site and had to install again…

  • Hi,

Not sure if you have already seen this, but I found a nice tutorial on setting up WordPress on your Heroku account. There is a section that talks about how to set up custom domain mapping. Could you please verify that you have followed all steps:

Thanks for the suggestion. I have done the domain steps…

Anyway, i deployed mine from here. Real quick to setup. Most of the things are nice and fine, just this last bit.

Wow ! and you are still facing an issue? Have you tried to get in touch with the Heroku support team? May be they could shed some light as well. I see no reason why it shouldn’t work if you have already set up the domain mapping as mentioned in their documentation.
