• Okay, so after the uni.cc domain service died, I moved my WordPress blog over to a new .com domain that I bought. I moved over all the files to the new server and also moved the database, changing the wp-config file accordingly.

However, I am getting the following error when I load the blog.

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/a6754469/public_html/wp-includes/load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/a6754469/public_html/wp-settings.php on line 21

Anything I can do to either fix it or retrieve all my posts and stuff so I can do a clean WP install?

  • the posts are safe in the database – though I would back it up

just replace the wp-admin and wp-includes folders, along with the core files

I just did that. Now getting the following error…

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘.’ in /home/a6754469/public_html/wp-includes/user.php on line 981
