• It seems that domain masking is breaking the functionality of the donation plug-in. When I go to click ‘Donate’, it simply opens a blank white page and doesn’t do anything. Whereas if I access the site through the un-masked domain, the plug-in works. Is there a way around this?

Also, the PayPal page style isn’t working. I’ve created the custom page style, saved it, and plugged in the name in the plug-in settings, but the payment page is still the default.

    Hey Tom,

Are you using a plugin to mask the domain or simply trying to view the donation form prior to it being published?

    Hi Devin,

I’m not using a plugin to mask the domain, just domain masking via my domain provider. I’m not using the default donation page, I’m only using the donation form on the home page via shortcode.

    Thanks,
    Tom

I’ve now removed the donation form from the homepage and replaced it for the time being with a simple PayPal donation button. I would still prefer to use the Give plug-in if we can get it working.

Essentially when people would input their name, email, and donation amount, and then hit the ‘Donate’ button, it would simply take them to a blank white page.

Since the plug-in works when the domain isn’t masked (the original domain is tmunz.com/danperichino, the masked domain is danperichinocancerfund.com), the domain masking must be causing the issue.

If you’re familiar with any workarounds for this please advise!

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Hey Tom,

Sorry for the late reply back here. To be honest, this is the first I’ve heard someone using domain masking with Give and we haven’t tested this use case thoroughly. I’ve created this issue: https://github.com/WordImpress/Give/issues/457

We will track the issue there and post any updates there. Thank you for taking the time to report this.
