    Hey there,

    Thanks getting in touch.

Could you tell me what version of the plugin you’re running? Did you by any chance copy the error it was giving?

    Cheers,
    Owain

I tried to install this on WP 4.1.1 and it wouldn’t activate, and instead gave me a question mark with this message when I clicked on it:

“This plug in is not allowed on our system due to performance, security, or compatibility concerns. Please contact our support with any questions.”

I’m using Divi theme from elegant themes, if that makes any difference.

Any idea if this can be resolved? Or if it’s a version problem?

    Hi grownupjane,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Sounds like your host is blocking the use of BackUpWordPress. Who’s hosting your site?

I know GoDaddy currently have black listed a number of backup plugins.

    Cheers,
    Owain

Yes, it’s Go Daddy who is hosting me, you’re right. Do you have any idea why are they blacklisting you?

Actually, cuvelier, I just saw why they blacklist you…they have issues with performance and redundancy since they do the backups for me. Thanks for pointing that out!

    Hey grownupjane,

That’s right. Hopefully they’ll whitelist us soon.

    Cheers!
