Hi Moses. I own the website that generates the thumbnail and Bible verse that appears on a user site. I am not the designer of the plug-in, so I cannot address the technical reason why that happens. What I can tell you is that it does conflict with some caching plugins. Some caching plugins prevent the photo and verse from updating until the cache is deleted or updated. If a site is regularly updated and the cache regularly deleted this doesn’t tend to happen.
If you do not use a caching plugin and this happens, then I don’t know why it happens. As I mentioned, I did not design the plug-in and don’t have much technical knowledge.
