We’ve invested a lot of time and effort into configuring the Amelia Booking System for various WooCommerce clients, only to find that the system doesn’t support Multiple Employees Per Appointment.

Obviously many industries require a booking to have multiple employees to be assigned to it. For example, cleaners may assign 2 staff members if the booking is a large property. Or a Summer Holiday Workshop might assign multiple teachers if the booking has more than a set number of attendees.

In the Amelia feature request queue, this has been one of the top ten requests for years, yet no action is being made to introduce the feature which is a real concern.

So my review is simple, if your requirements are for a single person business, or a business that would never assign multiple employees to a booking Amelia is great.

If not and there’s any reason for multiple employees to be assigned to a single booking, then don’t waste your time!

    Hi Luke,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Amelia’s model treats a single employee as the unit of availability, and there is currently no native way to assign two or more staff members to the same appointment. For your use cases — a cleaning job requiring two people, or a workshop with several teachers beyond a certain size — this is a real limitation, and I understand why it could be a dealbreaker.

As you mentioned, this feature has already been logged and is on the roadmap. I should mention that our developers are currently fully booked and working on other features, but we hope this one will be addressed as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

    Regards,
    Stefan
