Does wordpress create loopbacks

    I am trying to sort an issue with outgoing trackbacks and pingbacks and wonder if someone could give me a definitive answer to this question from my hosting company…

    If WordPress creates loopback connections during the process of trackbacks/pingbacks, then there is no way around this unfortunately. It might be worth contacting WordPress to confirm this.
