Hi there,
Just to make sure we’re on the same page, can you tell me what you mean by “updating the list of orders live”?
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Ross
Hi Ross
Of course. In the website’s control panel, you can see a list of the orders you have. When someone buys a product on the website, the order is displayed in the control panel, and you can then process it – e.g. set the order to “Completed”.
What I mean is whether WooCommerce automatically updates the list of orders. Eg…
There will be a purchase on the webshop.
An employee packs the order, and then sets it to “Completed”.
Will another employee be able to see immediately that the order has been completed, or will he need to reload the browser window?
Does it make sense?

Hi again,
Thanks for explaining! In short, without heavy modification to the code, the order page will need to be refreshed for those to update. I did some sleuthing, but I wasn’t able to find an alternative, I’m sorry to say. Your best bet here would be to talk to a developer who can write up some custom code for you. If you want to explore that route, I’d suggest reaching out to one of the services on our Customizations page (https://woocommerce.com/customizations/).
Best,
Ross
