I haven’t been able to get the pro version to post on Google+, and I have 2-step verification turned on (doesn’t work with an application-specific password either).
Please update your plugin to use an application specific password: see here
This way, it will work reliably with 2-step authentication enabled.
I tried pro 1.0 version with application specific password, and it doesn’t work. It says incorrect login/password.
