Does not like windows hosting

For business reasons I have a few WordPress sites hosted on Windows IIS. Unfortunately, W3TC does not like Windows when it comes to the file name length of the Minified CSS and JS files. The error received is “Plugin could not solve the Minify Auto issue automatically.” What a great plugin with such a major shortcoming. I see this has been an issue for a number of years given the quantity of Google results. Not to mention many of the solutions presented only mask the error and don’t fix the issue. If and when this issue is resolved the plugin would be 5 stars, hands down. Until then, only use with Linux Apache host.
