• I have W3 Total Cache and a number of sites and manage these sites through one central dashboard (MainWP). I can mass update plugins via this dashboard. But if the site has W3 Total Cache installed it likely needs to have the cache flushed which doesn’t happen as part of this automatic process.

So I could very easily deactivate the plugin on all sites and the reactivate them all. Would this clear the cache? Would it cause any issues?

    Thanks

  • The problem I am having is similar but different. I have only one site with W3 installed. I have been updating numerous posts, pages and media and now I get a message at the top of every page in the WP admin of my site.

This is a link to the jpg file of the message.

It is asking me to either / or EMPTY THE PAGE CACHE / EMPTY THE MINIFY CACHE. I need to better understand what the difference is between the two choices and when I would perform one or both of the tasks.

I look forward to your reply as soon as possible.
    Thanks – Regards 🙂
