Hey there morecoffy,
Hope you’re well today 🙂
There is no reason for this not to work, you’ll need to setup services and add “sellers” as service providers so other users can book an appointment with those providers if that makes sense.
Service providers can have any of the user roles if that is your concern.
Please let me know if you have additional questions 🙂
Best regards,
Bojan
I’m sorry, maybe I have not been able to explain. I try again:
I need to install this plugin on a C2C platform where professional users (sellers) can receive bookings from non-professional users (customers). So: sellers must be able to manage their bookings from frontend and customers must be able to book the services from frontend.
Hey again,
As I mentioned above this can work with any kind of users. Setting up the services and assigning service providers (your sellers) has to be done by the admin.
Assigned service providers can set their own working hours but setting up services, service duration and other settings has to be done by admin.
In case these are going to be paid appointments I don’t believe this will work cause payments can be linked only to one account. As for managing their bookings I’m not exactly sure what you mean by that, can you please add more details.
Best regards,
Bojan
Hello Bojan
“Assigned service providers can set their own working hours but setting up services, service duration and other settings has to be done by admin “
I have a similar question. Does the service provider have a frontend way to schedule their availability not through the wp admin panel?
I mean other than giving permission to service provider to access the wp admin panel.
Thanks
Hey again Tafti,
I have a similar question. Does the service provider have a frontend way to schedule their availability not through the wp admin panel?
No, this is not possible out of a box in the current version of the plugin, the availability and working hours for provider are being set in their profile page in the admin (Users -> Your Profile or just Profile for subscribers http://screencast.com/t/1dP2PnN2lXHK). This is available even for Subscriber user role so there is no need for adding any special permissions for the users.
