Does a multilingual site affect SEO

    Hi, I’m trying to run a multi-lingual site using the WPML plugin.

    I’m noticed my google ranking has taken a hit though after adding post in spanish

    Should this happen and if so can anyone explain the logic (sorry this is my first website) and what I can do to avoid it? Would it be better to have seperate site for the other languages in terms of SEO?
