Document not found, Error 404 on page & post

    Hi
    I am using WordPress theme 2012 version 1.3 on islamgod.com
    Only the first page show and subsequent pages and post doesn’t show, i get Document not found, Error 404 message. This happens when permalink setting is custom. When I change permalink to default it works.
    If i change back from default to custom permalink it doesn’t work.
    I need custom permalink for seo purpose

    Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

    Check with your hosts that mod_rewrite is running on your server.

    Hi Esmi
    I have asked them if mod-rewrite is running on server. My host replied back with this
    “Yes, it’s available, however you need to click the “sync htaccess” button in the control panel, under website settings to be able to use it.”

    can I do anything on htaccess to sort it out?

    I set custom permalink then “sync htaccess” and problem is resolved
