• Hi,
I’m sorry but I don’t understand well how your plugin works. My need is basic : I want to make available a video at a specific date/time. After the length of the video, I want to hide the video automatically. I notice that with your plugin I need to refresh the page to make it works.
    Example:
    [timed-content-server show=”2021-04-05 09:25:00 +0100″ hide=”2021-04-05 11:00:00 +0100″]MY MOVIE [/timed-content-server]

Server side rules will be applied on the server before the content is send to the browser – that’s why they are called “server rules”. The whole content won’t be available at all if the rule hides it and on the other side content won’t hide automatically in the browser since the server has to send an updated version of the whole page without the content.

Therefore – yes, it is neccessary to refresh the page.

I also don’t really understand your idea: you can’t control when people will start watching the video. So if someone starts watching it just 10 minutes before the official viewing time is over, he or she will only see the first 10 minutes if the video would automatically hide at a fixed time. So it would make more sense to me to allow accessing the video within a certain time frame but allow watching it completely.
