    Hello,

    HOw does DNS prefect option works with the plugin ?

    I’ve enabled the option but can see no code in .htaccess nor function.php file.

    I still have ” Reduce DNS lookups” warning when i test my website in GTmetrics.

    Hi,
    Have you Purge All cache after setup the DNS prefetch?

    Hi,

    Yes I did several time.

    I’m not sure I’m doing well. I entered in DNS preload:

    //www.facebook.com
    //www.connect.facebook.net
    //www.google.com
    //www.google.fr
    //www.googletagmanager.com
    //www.google-analytics.com
    //www.googleadservices.com
    //www.cdn-images.mailchimp.com
    //www.chimpstatic.com

    and activated ” DNS Prefetch Control ”

    Nothing seems to solve this problem.

    Hi,

    on HTML code you should see , something like this

    <link rel='dns-prefetch' href='//google.com' />

    I think this error does not mean you don’t have DNS prefetch , but you have too many of domains need to be prefetched.

    how many domains max can I put in DNS prefecth section of the litespeed plugin ?

    Hi,

    I don’t know , but I guess large enough , at least few hundreds should be no problem

    but like I said , it’s about how many you have prefetched

    I assume PageSpeed Insight only like X number of domains to be prefetched , and once you reach X + 1 , it starts to give that complaint.
