I’m using a Divi plugin, Divi Timer Pro, (https://www.peeayecreative.com/product/divi-timer-pro/) to display a daily countdown timer on the global header of the site. The timer is set to start counting down for 5 hours each weekday from 10am ET to 3pm ET. When the timer completed its countdown, it changes to a text message that displays for the remainder of the day, until the timer restarts at 10am ET the next day. Everything works fine, except when the timer changes from the text message to the timer, or from the timer back to the message. When this occurs, the page enters into a non-stop refresh and will not fully load until I clear the LSCache. Once I clear the LSCache, the page loads fine. I’ve tried excluding the cookies that are associated with the plugin from caching; I’ve also tried excluding the URIs of the plugin’s files in /wp-content/plugins, but the problem persists. I have set the homepage to clear cache in 3:01pm on a schedule, to see if that helps – but the problem looks to be happening twice a day, when the timer starts and when the timer stops. I’ve checked with the plugin developer and he suggested I check with you all to see what would be the best settings to address this.

The way I replicate the issue is to just visit the site in an incognito browser just after the timer starts or ends. Currently I have the cache scheduled to clear at 3:01pm ET today, so I will be checking it at 3:00 and again at just past 3:01.
