Displaying Sub Menu or Sub Category

    I am new to wordpress and I dont have good knowledge of it. I am trying to develop a custom theme.

    I dont have any ides how could I display Sub Page or Sub category ?
    The link below shows the design that I want to integrate.

    You can see the sub category or sub page with 2 level. This will be different for each page. I dont know how to do it but what I tried was creating main category for top level menu and Sub Category for 1st Level Sidebar menu and post title under it.

    Can anyone help me about this ? How can I do that ? I am in urgent so if anyone can help me I will appreciate that.
