    Hi There! I’d like to be able to use your [mla_gallery} shortcode to create a list of current documents. However, the results always includes the media file’s captions. Is it possible to omit the captions and only include the title?

    I do need captions on the media file, as it aids with searching. I just want to know if I can omit the caption when using the shortcode. Here is my shortcode query:

    [mla_gallery mla_style=”none” attachment_category=”cslp,release-notes,current” tax_operator=”AND” post_mime_type=”application/pdf” orderby=”date DESC” mla_target=”_blank”]

    Thank you for the help. I look forward to hearing back.

    Regards,
    Terence.

    Thanks for your question and for the link to your example page and gallery; very helpful.

    You can use the mla_caption parameter to suppress or replace the default caption. For your example, try adding something like this:

    mla_caption="{+title+}"

    Of course, you could also define a custom markup template to get complete control over the gallery display, but mla_caption will probably accomplish your goal.

    I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have any problems or further questions regarding the above suggestions. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
