Display taxonomies

Hi,

I have created a custom posttype. In that posttype I have created some categories within a taxonomy. When I list my custom posttypes i want to show what category they are saved in.

I can use the function: the_taxonomies for this and it works, but it also writes out the taxonomy ename. Not just the category. Like this: Cars: Volvo

I just want to write out Volvo in my example above. Someone who has a clue how I can do that?
