Display image title/description below thumbnail?

    @pixelkicks – You can use the NextGEN Legacy “captions” template to show the description under each thumbnail but if you want the Alt&Title field to show you will need to create a custom template to show those details.

    Ok thanks. Can I ask why functionality such as this would be classed as legacy though?

    Seems like it would be a fairly common requirement to me.

    @pixelkicks – The “template” approach is what NextGEN Legacy was based in while using shortcode structures, while the current version of NextGEN Gallery relies on the ATP to insert galleries as the primary method (although shortcode structures can still be used).

    NextGEN Legacy essentially refers to release versions 1.19.13 and older.
